This Lat pull down bar does not revolve like a few of our other models. A hollow 60 inch bar will solve the problem that occurs when a solid lat bar attachment weighs more than the weight stack top plate which brings the solid bar crashing down the moment the weight stack pin is removed. This model will not be a problem weighing in at just 6 lbs.

Our 48" Revolving Cambered Lat Pull Down Bar is hollow and weighs only 4 lbs, so it is much lighter than our solid steel version, and therefore less unwieldy and easier to manage. At 48" this chrome-plated knurled bar sports a medium grip that is preferred by the average user.

Measuring 34 inches long, this solid steel, pro style lat pull down attachment performs medium wide lat pulls with opposing grips. Opposing grips allow the biceps to come into play, which are much stronger by nature than the forearm (brachial) muscles. Performing supinated lat pull downs reduces the role of the brachial (outer forearm) muscles, replacing their role with more biceps participation. The brachialis tend to be much weaker than the biceps which makes them the limiting factor in traditional lat pull down exercises with the cambered bar. Using an opposing grip allows the full strength of the biceps to come into play, thus stimulating the latismus group that much more. Revolving Straight Multi-purpose Lat/Curl/Tricep Bar - 30 Inches Long

This hard-to-find multi-purpose bar is made from solid steel with protective rubber end bumpers to keep damage down to a minimum. Use this straight cable attachment when a cambered lat bar won't suffice, and a shorter straight curl bar is too short. Make your own Tricep ropes using this Forged One-Piece Cable Attachment Rope Swivel - Chrome Plated

You can buy rope at a local home improvement store and make custom cable attachment ropes up to 1" in diameter. Rope can be terminated by tying a knot. Large flat washers may be used as an option to support the heel of the hand.

This swivel can also be used to make custom steel cable attachments with a rotating swivel using a 1" OD steel bar with a little polishing on the inside of the swivel bore. Then install a pair of 1" ID shaft collars on both sides of swivel to fasten to the center of the bar.
