This is the world's smallest pop pin! Simply machine a 5/8" hole into one wall of the outer tubing. The supplied threaded bulkhead engages the 5/8" hole so it will not "walk" while welding it to the tube wall. Once cooled, thread the entire pop pin assembly into female bulkhead thread. The pop pin body is zinc plated so there is no additional finishing required. The pop pin body is made of 12 mm hex stock, so a 12 mm wrench may be used to torque it down.

Once installed and assembled, the total length of pop pin is only 1.7" from the tip of ball knob to the surface of the tube, which is great for projects needing a spring-loaded adjustment within tight quarters!

Each pop pin includes an unpainted threaded bulk head that is welded to framework where pop pin is to mounted

Diameter of engagement portion of center pin: 5/16"

Center pin will engage to a maximum depth of .300" (from the outside surface of outer tube to the tip of the pin)

Weld-on bulkhead can be installed into tube wall range of .040" to .120" thick

You may choose not to use the supplied bulkhead and machine a female thread into any other appropriate panel or surface to mount pop pin
