5-1/2" O.D. x 5/8" Hub x 5/16" Bolt Bore - Chrome Plated Steel Cable Pulley - For Universal Machines. Sealed ball bearing. Maximum cable diameter (including jacket): 3/16" will replace the OEM 5.5" diameter pulleys found on Universal brand equipment. Cable groove is 5/16" deep. The hub width is 5/8" (.625") and provides a .050" extension clearance on each side of the pulley - which is much less than the typical .125" provided by our other nylon pulleys. Made in USA!

Stamped from .120" (11 ga) thick sheet metal

Shipped unfinished and ready to weld in place

Mounts our 4.5" cable pulley p/n AFL-216 which is listed in our pulley section

Can be bolted instead of welded by drilling holes in in the 1.25" side for through mounting

3/8" holes are stamped in to mount pulley through pulley bore

These are raw stampings - meaning they need to be deburred to remove sharp edges from stamping process

Overall dimensions: 4.375" Wide x 5" High x 1.25" Thick

Half-round edges follow contour of 4.5" OD pulley for pleasing aesthetic look

4.5" (114 mm) OD x 1.968" (50 mm) Hub x .393" (10 mm) Bore Nylon Super Wide Groove Cable Pulleys with Wide Hub can be used in place of a swivel pulley. Applications that call for a swivel pulley do so because the pulley groove must remain aligned with cable force vector, or it will derail. These pulleys have a deep and wide cable groove, so if mounted statically, they can tolerate a wide angle of misalignment before derailing the cable.
